I was looking over the templates and style sheets, and I noticed something very useful. Most of the items can be changed without saving as a different name. However, the Menu Manager plugin has a list of templates that are locked in as "read only".

This should be the default setting for everything in CMSMS. This one feature alone would make the whole system more stable and goof-proof, and would eliminate a huge number of possible bugs and problems.
