CMS Performance question

Post by tomaszgaluszka »

Hello,
I have been testing made simple cms with about 960 contents (contents, links, sectionheaders, pagelinks) and i must wait after add/edit new page about 10 seconds (especially for listcontent).

Have anyone experience with a lot of pages in cms ?

Thanks for reply

have you tried increasing your php memory limit? this can help, as well as general lamp stack optomisation techniques: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=optom ... 1&ie=UTF-8

You may find another module you have installed is causing the slow down, try disabling them one by one to see if there's any increase in performance.

TBH - i've not had great experiences using the pages aspect of the cms at volumes like this, I try and break things down into other modules to lighten the load and make it less cumbersome for the site owner to navigate content.

From what I've seen - V2 (when released) will really help with this - so if you can, you may be best sitting tight till its released :)
