Trying to move a perfectly working site to my WHM server. When I have transferred files, imported database and changed config.php, I am greeted with the following message:

Fatal error: Attempt to connect to database chilli_frog on chilli_frog@localhost failed in /home/chilli/public_html/proof/frogmorefarm/lib/adodb.functions.php on line 61

When I try a fresh install of CMS Made Simple, I get the following error at step 5 of the install:

Could not connect to the database. Verify that username and password are correct, and that the user has access to the given database.

I have checked, double checked, triple checked, quadruple checked, changed, deleted and re-setup the database and user. phpMyAdmin can see, edit and browse the database fine.

clear cache, delete all files in tmp/templates_c and tmp/cache folders

I have cleared the files etc as recommended by Rolf but I still get the same message. I can't clear the cache via the admin. system as I can't get in. System worked fine 24 hours ago.

Can anyone help please?
