Response Messages on Apply and Submit

The items currently state the following:

Upon using the Apply button:
The article was successfully updated.

Upon using the Submit button:
The article was successfully updated.

The first one was correct, but the second one should have stated:
The article was successfully submitted.

Also, the appropriateness of the statements should be required within modules as well. Theirs should state similar to "The news item was successfully submitted", as in the case of the News module.

Specificity means everything in computing.

Thank you.

I agree, and I've made this argument before about using common language across all modules, but I was shot down. There needs to be consistency.

Well you're not shot down here. And your comments are appreciated.

One thing I have found in the computer industry that is an absolute, is that programmers need direction. Without a good director, there is no impetus to follow common sense methods or to program for users, let alone practicing intuitive methodologies.

Each programmer simply does things within his or her own viewpoint, without consideration of the users' needs. As a rule, the truth comes thru the input from many minds.

Maybe, together, we can start a revolution. ;D
