Ordner of newstopics (modul: news)

hallo,

i´ve got some news articles in my cms. but from time to time i edit the news articles without creating a new article, just editing. i put the news module on the frontpage. in list of the news articles on this site, i want to have the articles with the lastet update on the top. So i choosed " sortby='news_data' ". But what does "news_data" actually mean in this context? How can get the ordner with the article which i edited at last on the top?

The easiest way would be to change the post date to reflect the day you make changes then it would be on top of the news page or in what ever order you put the post cates.

That´s not possible, because i´ve another page with the list of news and in this list, the articles must be sorted by the date of the creation. so, is there another way?
