Hi all,
Long story short, I initially had an odd problem with the News module so I decided to check for upgrades through the module manager. Well I saw that CGextensions had an upgrade so I figured while I was in there I might as well do it. After upgtading CGextensions my News module worked and viewed fine but now I am missing my Menu navagation.
I'm running version CMS version 1.11.7
any help would be appreciated....here is the site

I had done that Rolf, tried it again but it's still not showing the menu.

I did search the forums and started reading through some of the solved menu problems but I have to be honest...I'm at a loss right now. I have no clue what I'm looking for or even where to start looking.

Rolf...would you be able to take a look at it for me if I give you admin access?? I would appreciate it if you could because I'm kind of lost. Unless you have some suggestions for me to troubleshoot.

Try upgrade cmsms to 1.11.9 and upgrade News module in Module Manager.
If still not works post your system information.

I have just upgraded this site with a fresh install probably around the summer, I'd rather avoid updating unless absolutely necessary. Is there anything in the template, stylesheet or a setting that I should be looking for that maybe I changed by accident to make this occur?
Just for giggles I uninstalled menu manager. I'm not using any custom template menus so I figured what's the harm in it.
I received this error ... message and full trace when attempting to view the website.
Code: Select all

I reinstalled Menu manager and I can view my site again....minus the menu of course. I don't remember if I did anything Menu manage and if I did, I don't know if this would have made a difference.

+1. This keeps core files and module files up to date and (hopefully) error free and vulnerability free.
Follow the instructions here:
http://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/upgrading ... nformation
And after you've done that and posted your system info, if the menu still doesn't work post your template.

I upgraded to 1.11.9, upgraded all of the existing modules and the menu and site now view fine on the frontend. But I now have a problem with 2 of the modules in the Admin control panel.
1. The Uploads file module is not showing under the content tab in the Admin panel so I am unable to upload any new files or change existing ones that were upload prior to the upgrade.
2. The Events Calendar is not listing all of the events like it was prior to the upgrade. It is only allowing me to list by the drop downs choosing month by month....how can I change this to show all of them that are input?
Ok the uploads file module link in admin just miraculously appears after I added a new page and content....strange but it fixed itself so I'm happy. I will still need help with:

What module do you use for the calendar? And please post your system information.
