Calguys Feed Maker - Help with feed from News module

Hi there,

I'm using the latest version of cg feedmaker and have used the default template to create an RSS feed from the news module.

I have a couple of issues:

1. When I click on a link from within the RSS feed, it takes me to the full story which is set within the home page of the site. It needs to be a different page for a particular site I'm working on. When using the news module in the usual manner, you can specify the detailpage, can we bring this variable into the RSS feed template?

2. The news link from within the RSS feed seems to be different to the one when viewing the news section on the site. For example, if I am browsing the news section on the site and click on an article the url for that article is:

http://www.website.com/news/3/20/article-name.html

However if I am viewing the RSS feed I click on the link for that same article and the url is:

http://www.website.com/news/3/15/article-name.html

This creates duplicate content. Is there anything we can do to correct this?

Any help and advice on the above would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Set a default detailpage in the news tag in CGFeedmaker template.

Sorry if I'm being thick, but how would I do this?

Forgive me, I didn't see the {news} tag in there but I've found it now. Thanks for that (I was being thick!!).

So I guess my last issue is just the duplicate content problem, if anyone could help me with this I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!
