url rewriting issues with nginx

i have been/am having url rewriting issues with nginx and cmsms versions 1.11.8 and 1.11.9.

i have been told that this is not a cmsms bug but have not heard back as to whether it actually works on my platform's software versions or just isn't supported, so is automatically "not a bug".

so, can anyone confirm that pretty urls are working properly with cmsms 1.11.8 and/or 1.11.9 with php 5.5 and nginx 1.4.x?

if not, hopefully cmsms 2.0 will reintoduce compatability.
