Hi All,

On one of the sites I manage with CMSMS I've noticed a very slow working admin interface. A page takes about 10 seconds to load. I've noticed that switching from OneEleven theme back to NCleanGrey solves the issue.

This site uses a lot of file folders to store gallery images in. Could this make the site slow? The OneEleven theme makes a list of all the folders in the CMSMS install folder. You can access this list from the upload module in the top right of the admin. The NCleanGrey theme doesn't have this functionality.

Is this list of folders generated on each load of a page, or is it possible to make it cachable?

Just tested on a site with hundreds of Gallery folders. Works great...

What could be other causes for the admin to slow down with a different theme? Is there anything I can do to measure where the delay occurs? It is a shared server, so I don't know if I can log everything.

Without technical information is it just guessing for us....
