CMS Made Simple Forums

I've used CMS Made Simple on my own projects with ease. But now I'm trying to set it up for somebody else - and ran into a possible problem. Can this work on a Windows 2008 Server with the latest MySQL set up?

If so, is there anything I should know?
If not, what are some similar alternatives for this server?
