Uploads don't give the category option on upload.

Hi'
I use the following code on a page but I don't get the category option dropdown list as described in the help for the module.
How should the code be assambled? Your help is appriciated.
My code:
{content_module module="Uploads" block="categoryselect" label="Select an upload category" selectone= assign="tmp" action="default"}
{Uploads category="x" mode="upload" noauthor="1"}
