Theme Manager Malfunction

Cannot import a theme, using beta 6. When I get into the Theme Manager, I get only the Export and Import tabs, no info below them at all - themes installed should show up, but do not. Have not installed any themes yet, should have only default theme listed, but not even that shows. Import tab does not give any response at all when clicked, so I cannot install a theme.
Any suggestions appreciated.

this is no malfunction..... the theme manager just takes an XML file and imports the templates, and stylesheets into CMS. On export, it just lits the currently installed templates.
The default pages are installed directly to SQL, and are not a 'theme'... and the theme manager should just show you the templates that are installed and active.

If you go to
http://themes.cmsmadesimple.org/Full_Themes.html you will find some themes in the .xml format, download/save one to your comp., in CMSMS go to theme manager> import, click browse, find .xml file dbl. click it shows up in window, click import button, then go to templates and make active.

Sorry if this is really simple but I am new to CMSMS and am currently just playing around with it.
I've downloaded and installed the Theme Manager but I'm having the exact same problem as the OP: in Admin>Layout>Theme Manager I only get Export and Import tabs and when either are click nothing happens, no option to browse for an XML file or any error message. What am I doing wrong?
Soz if this sounds a bit simple, like I say I'm just starting out

The default install comes with Theme manager, the one you downloaded and installed may not work with the newest ver. of CMSMS...
Look in the CMSMS folder you unpacked on your comp. to find the theme manager, in modules folder, that came with it and uninstall then delete the one you downloaded/installed, then reFTP the original one and install it to see if it works...
