simplemenu - number of layers

I'm using simplemenu for navigation on my cmsms 0.9.2 site, which actually consists of three sites in one, each having its own design.

Since these three sites had their own subfolders I decided to install CMSMS three times, but now I'm wondering if it's possible to do this with just one installation and according to this just one admin-interface.

The different templates won't be three problem, even the news Script supports categories, so having three newspages won't be a problem as well.

But the navigation still needs a solution.

I thought of a startup-page that lets you choose between the three basic sites. When one site is loaded its navigation should only show a Home-Link ( back to the startup-page ) and the links which belong to this single site, but not those of the two sites you did not choose before.

Something like this:

1) Startup-Page

1.1) Site 1
1.1.1) Sub 1...

1.2) Site 2
1.2.1) Sub 2...

1.3) Site 3
1.3.1) Sub 3...

As soon as the user reached page 1.1 links to 1.2 and 1.3 shall not be displayed anymore.
On page 1 only the layer below but not all layers ( not 1.x.x ) shall be visible.

So I basicly need to know if there's a chance that this is going to work ( without too much trouble ), and some advice :-)

hey,
i have a similar site iovadineva.com/beta

and i got the menu working by making 2 (in may case) section headers and making all the contect theur respective childen. then you  just set 3 templates and make the menu for each site only see siblings and chilndren.

works like a charm.

hope this helps.
