I have a fully running cmsms site, but needed to create my own cms system beside that. is it possible to export/embed the cmsms news to that side?

it is written in html/php and is total independent from the cmsms site.

You can embed by typing '?showtemplate=false' at the end of the embed cmsms url. If there are more parameters in the url, use and ampersand '&' in stead of '?'.

You could also export news to an RSS feed and use that to build the other site. I've no experience with that approach.

You can read and buffer the external content in your website.
