The pretty URL's are hindering the functionality of my website.

I would like to disbale them completley including in the menu.

I have disabled it by changing config.php but the menu still uses it!

any idea how to change that?

Thanks!

I thought pretty URLs were off by default in latests 1.0b
I think it is just a "true/false" switch in the config file.

But I don't understand why some people want ugly URLs 8-)
May be you'd rather have an obfuscated domain name ?-)

This is strange. Which cmsms version are you using ? which webserver ? What do you have in config.php about pretty URLs ? Have you set up the menu a customized way ?

this is a bit embarrasing.

it turns out I had a problem with the ftp program which did not report that the changes have not taken place due to permission errors.

It works fine now...
sorry.....
