It's been a while since I posted on this board. Here is the latest version of my own website.

Yes Dr CSS, I know it doesn't validate because of the Addthis scripts. According to their website, they will soon come out with data- attributes which will fix the problem.

Thanks to caciavar for help with the coding, especially the portfolio.

Your isotope links in Portfolio after you have clicked into a specific one don't work anymore i.e shows no content. Safari 6.0.3, iMac.

What is EditArea? I don't see it in the Forge.

One thing I noticed is that the submenus are a bit finicky... If I'm not fast, the submenu collapses before I can get to it. Maybe extend the link (maybe make the link itself invisibly extend lower?) PC on Chrome

Cheers, very grateful to all for the feedback.

applejack: isotope is intended for the summary page. as the detail page only shows one item, there is nothing to show if any other hierarchy item is clicked. agreed this is bit confusing for the punters and will change the detail page to have a 'Back' link to the summary list instead.

wishbone: EditArea module formats admin textareas, eg for stylesheet highlighting etc.

wishbone: will see what I can do to extend the display time of the sub-menu links

Psy

For the individual portfolio item why not just show it using jQuery rather than having it as it's own page seeing as there isn't much content for each one then the filter links would work.

In a link to another site you are missing the http:// ends up as

Thanks applejack. Majorly impressed that you put my site through it's passes.

No matter what you do, you can never test everything... damn it!

Hey cavaviar... are you reading this? ;)

Only teasing. psy is an Aussie, I'm sure she can take a bit of jesting from a Brit!!!

And anyway it is much better than all the dev's sites I looked at recently (bar Goran's) which are embarrassing to say the least. If U are going to push web development etc at least have a decent enough site.

P.S. Certain services are available via another forum http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewforum.php?f=34

Glad you noticed the 80's retro style applejack. It's back in fashion but being a Brit, you may still be living in the last century ... ;)
