HOW TO: overflow:scroll div inside position:fixed div?

Hello!
What I need here is most likely some java magic but this was the only forum section, at least remotely, connected to my problem. Here's my starting point:
Basic HTML:
And this is basic CSS:
What I need to achieve is this:
- div#container is position:fixed but I need it's height to be adaptive to browser window height;
- div#content needs to be overflow:scroll but it's height should depend on adaptive height of div#container;
I don't think it can be done with pure CSS but some javascripting could get the job done. And it's beyond my skills... If you have an idea how to solve this I would highly appreciate it!
