MySql/php within CMSMS

Really simple help needed!
Is there anyone who can help with some mysql/php to add, edit and view records within CMSMS? We have an existing site, eastcoastmarineservices.co.uk with an events section and we'd like to do smarter things with it - drop events that have expired, view events taking place in the next 'x' days and so on.

This one is commercial development, and we also have some similar part funded work for a social enterprise site; ironically aimed at getting kids away from screens and outside! ;)

Anyone help a reasonable designer and CMSMSer get the database stuff to work?

Cheers

Tim

Not to do anyone out of paid work....but.....if you have a "CMSMSer" on board you'll probably get on OK with CGCalendar module. Enter events in the back end. Display them however you want in the front end with the usual templating tools. Can do events coming up too - called upcominglist.

One of the most powerful modules availale IMHO.

Here's an example of it at work:

So don't post answers here. This is the commercial section and so it should remain as such.

P.S. News module click the expiration date. ....

You are both stars. We'd like to have a relationship with a 'proper' coder/scripter/dBase resource, so if anyone wants to put their hat in the ring...?
