I am writing to ask where I can find a step by step procedure to upgrade the CMS, my site has the old version 1.6.4 and who I had achieved everything has changed business.

when i upgraded CMS I would like to change the theme!! there is a procedure too for this?

First upgrade your site. When everything works fine, install and activate your choosen theme. Then activate it for every page - see under layout > templates.
