News with images

Hello,
Since i have not had any luck in the forums or anywhere else, to build something on my own, i am requesting this here.
I want to be able to post news with the option of an image, that will be displayed in the summary view as a thumbnail, and in the detail template as another size.
In the summary view:
- if image not used , then it should have normal view
- if image is used, then be able to place the thumbnail right or left
- if image is used, automatically crop image to specified size for summary view (eg 100x100)
In the detail view
- if image not used , then it should have normal view
- if image is used, then automatically crop image to specified size for detail view (eg 250px width)
This should work with News module and be able to use all the News tags (date, title, return link etc). The image is basically the only addition.
Please let me know if anyone is interested , then we can talk further.
