CGUserDirectory: can user choose to be listed or not?

Hi all,
Im using selfregistration and FEU to let user register themselves on a website. I want to use CGUserDirectory to list them on the website front.
But I would like them be free to choose to be listed or not in CGUserDirectory.
Can I use a checkbox property from FEU to do this? and how?
