Hello,

i'm running CMSMS 0.13 with PHP Version 4.4.2, MySQL 4.1.15 and apache(i don't know which version) on linux.

The cms use to work perfectly, but now i've got problems only when editing pages.
When i "apply" or "submit" the edited pages, after 1 minute or more, i've got a blank page or just the folowing message:

"Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/httpd/vhosts/www.auctaekwondo.com/web/lib/adodb_lite ... driver.inc on line 339"

In the error_log of the server :

PHP Fatal error:  Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in
/home/httpd/vhosts/www.auctaekwondo.com/web/lib/adodb_lite ... module.inc on line 79

I don't know if there is link but i've got this error very often:

[Thu Aug 17 19:36:01 2006] [error] (2)No such file or directory: access to /home/httpd/vhosts/www.auctaekwondo.com/web/modules/FCKeditorX/uploads failed for ax213-1-82-66-154-104.fbx.proxad.net, reason: File does not exist

i didn't remenber changing anything outside the cms !

I'm using the cms on the same provider with no problem the only diffence seems to be the version of PHP(4.4.0)

Sounds like sql server connections are dying or just taking way too long to complete.

Can you check (or ask your host) if your mysql server is having a high load or your db is full or something similar.

Only editing pages makes the problem happends, when modifying templates, css or whateever, no problems, then i think the problem is not the database!

i asked, and waiting for response.

On a windows machine, i have installed easyphp and copy my database, and the site root.

And i have the same problems, then the provider or the database load is not the problem.

which tests can i do ?

set debug mode on and check if you can spot anything.

and you could try copying all php files again to the server (if there is some files that are broken)

and check the server error log (but it should say the same thing ;)

Do a test with a new install witout YOUR copy of database, to chek.
Fait un test sous easyphp avec une installation sans prendre ta copie de ta base, pour vérifier

Rebuilt your page once by once and check if all is Ok
and after do the same with template and style sheet
