Commercial CMSMS Templates - where to market?

I have been working on a CMSMS template system that I use to develop sites and I want to resell it, when I get it ready. Does anyone have any ideas on where to market this? Can I stick a link in my signature?

Thanks!

Can I stick a link in my signature?
Absolutely not. The forum rules prohibit any sort of commercial advertisement in forum signatures or profiles.

The CMSMS dev team or website does not provide any mechanism for advertising commercial products or services on our website other than through paid advertising on our site or our partnership channels.

Also you should be aware that if your 'system' involves php code (such as a module or plugin) that links in with CMSMS then that php code falls under the GPL. Not saying you can't sell it, but it falls under the GPL.

Thanks.

It would be the CSS and html, not php and/or smarty.

I can't find anything on the main site for advertising opportunities.

Is it against the rules to link (in signature) to a free theme and then on the page where the free theme is have optional paid stuff too?

Just wondering before I go too far with it.

I have noticed links in a person's footer, I will not not name them, but they are active and it is a commercial link to templates for CMSMS.

If any dev team member notices commercial links in the signature or the profile we'll delete them.

I prolly just haven't noticed yet. I patrol the forums fairly regularly.

Part of the question is - Where to market -.
I've written a book and stumble upon the same problem as you carasmo.
I've put together a commerce part on my own website and using the right keywords, I hope that Google and other search providers select my site page as number one.
A shared market place for these type of things would be great. I'm in for building such a thing.
Ideas?

Since my mother's brain cancer last year and her recent hip fracture, I've had to take a lot of time off to care for her and it's cost me a lot due to not being able to take on jobs with certain deadlines. Soooo I wanted to create something that has some passive-ish income, like templates for CMSMS since so many do this with WP themes in various marketplaces.

I can't find any information on advertising on this site with a banner at the bottom (which I never have noticed until recently). So I don't know whether or not the cost of it would be feasible or even worthwhile (since I haven't noticed the banner). So I'm going to turn what I have into an html template (actually it's about 25 different pages and 6 different home page layouts and various other pages) and eventually a WordPress theme and put it on Themeforest. I've just joined ThemeHybrid to get going with WordPress. I used to use it, but it's such a pain in the arse since CMSMS is significantly better in so many areas for most business websites.

What would be good is a marketplace part of the forum for commercial stuff (themes, plugins, books) to post with a link that you run through e-junkie that sends back a commission to a developer's fund.
