Help with lay-out?

Hi,

I don't know alot about html/css etc. I tried to read through the documentation on the site, but find it very confusing. That's why I'm asking here.

I would like to setup a cmsms website with a vertical menu(left), horizontal menu(top), one column(center), and then a news column(right). The menu items would have to be sorted, ie. ex 1-8 would be in the vertical menu, whilst 9-x would be in the horizontal menu. I've tried for the last couple of days to figure this out, but can't figure it out.

Can someone please, please, run me through the process of setting up the system above? I know it won't take long for you experienced bunch. :)

Thanks a lot!

Have you read thru the menu manager Help, the word help in modules is a link to the help page.

There are start levels and start pages tags for the menus.

Do you have a link to your site?

Hi,

I can't find the Help link in the menu manager page(it is present on other pages though).

Could you perhaps help me with the multiple menu part? I'll sort out how to arange the links in them later. I just want the layout now. I will worry about the links, content, styles, etc. later.

The site is currently on my local machine.

Thank You!

Have you checked http://themes.cmsmadesimple.org/Theme_Frameworks.html the wireframe3col.xml can be adapted to have a second menu in the left hand col.

If you goto Extensions ยป Modules you will see the MM listed there and the Help to the right.
