[Solved]Moved site to new host - cannot now view site

Using 1.11.2
My client wants his new site to be hosted by his ISP. Currently all my sites are with Arvixe. So I did a full backup of the site and the ISP has moved all the files. I can access the CMSMS admin and all the page data , modules etc seem intact.
Only problem is that using View Site, it doesn't come up at all. The tech suggested it is because the phpMyAdmin on my installation (cPanel) is a newer version than theirs. He said that is the only difference.
They don't use the cPanel I am familiar with so am not sure what my next move is.
