Have been looking around at CMSMS modules for a while now trying to figure out what combination of modules may do what I'm looking for, or even if such a combination actually exists! If there's something closeish then I'm not adverse to some back-end jiggery-pokery in order to get it the last step. Said the actress to the bishop
Essentially I want to enable users to post items up, with a picture and short description, and have them and other users be able to assign voting points (which they purchase) to these posts as they wish. I'd also like them to be able to comment on each of these posts.
For the display, I'm looking to have the list of posts sorted by number of voting points assigned to each one. Other than that I imagine it would behave similarly to a forum in terms of how it looks and functions.
Already have an up-to-date CMSMS site set up with FEU, Orders, Cart and PaypalGateway to handle creation of user accounts and purchasing of voting points.
I'm guessing one of the more complicated parts will be giving each voting point a unique ID when you can potentially purchase 5 at once, which just creates a "5" on the invoice in Orders - the user should be able to vote on 5 different posts with those 5 points, or even leave some unassigned should they wish.
