Hi everyone, at school last semester I took Advanced IS/IT Topics, and for a project I got to redesign the website for the Chamber of Commerce in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The client was finicky about the design elements, so it didn't end up as pretty as I'd like, but functionally, it's pretty good I think.

SOME FEATURES I REALLY LIKED
Google map
Calendar module
Statistics module

Not sure if it's by design or not, but I wanted to point out that the members link goes outsitde the template to a plain old html page rather than being embeded in the content section.  Probably by design, but i thought it worth pointing out just in case ;)

Yah, that page lists just about every business in our region, and the page was too big to fit into the DB field. I tried changing the datatype to allow for more text, but no luck. Maybe in future versions of CMSMS this will be fixed. Or maybe I'm just missing something?

Anyway, thanks for checking out my first CMSMS based site. 4 more on the way, and hopefully I'll find time to do one for myself  :)

Looks good - I like the implementation of the Google map  :)

By the way, have you considered using the news module for the members list? I have done it myself for lists of various types and it works fine. In your case, a lot of "news", but worth a try - you could use the news categories as dividers for each profession or just store one news item as the complete list for each profession, with just one category ;)
