Hi,

on an old site i used ImageGallery plugin, which has been deprecated. However, it did one thing i rather like to use again: it showed all contents in a folder alphabetically (subfolders and URL files). It made it very easy to create a gallery page, partly with local files in subfolders, partly with files hosted by members elsewhere on the web.

Does anyone know a way to achieve this in 1.11?

I don't know if deprecated means that you cannot use the plugin anymore?
edit: Just noticed that this plugin is not included in the core anymore since CMSms version 1.7 It probably won't work anymore in CMSms 1.10/1.11

The Gallery module does the exact same thing, except not with externally hosted images

I wonder... if there is no real alternative, why has it been deprecated? Or is there an alternative anyone knows of?

The Gallery module seems a good enough alternative to me

I guess because the dev team decided that this function didn't belong to a core install and 3th party plugins/modules should handle this.
