Hello!
Is there a way to export the current version of the website (entered/edited in CMS made simple) into static HTML pages?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best wishes,
MG

from his [link]

For getting html pages you might want to try HTTrack
www.httrack.com. A quote from their website:
"HTTrack is a free (GPL, libre/free software) and easy-to-use offline browser utility.
It allows you to download a World Wide Web site from the Internet to a local directory, building recursively all directories, getting HTML, images, and other files from the server to your computer. HTTrack arranges the original site's relative link-structure. Simply open a page of the "mirrored" website in your browser, and you can browse the site from link to link, as if you were viewing it online. HTTrack can also update an existing mirrored site, and resume interrupted downloads. HTTrack is fully configurable, and has an integrated help system.
WinHTTrack is the Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP release of HTTrack, and WebHTTrack the Linux/Unix/BSD release. See the download page. "
If it can handle your number of pages, well, would be simple to check that out by installing it and running the program on your site.
Hope this helps somewhat.

Yes sure. Let me say you just change your content once in a month. Everytime a user visits the website the content is generated through PHP. I know that Smarty has a caching but it's for sure, that static HTML pages are delivered faster then a interpreted PHP. So it would be a nice feature to edit/change your site through CMSMS and then export that to static HTML pages.
