CMS Made Simple Forums

I am a novice web developer. I've managed to make an image slider using Jquery, css, html, Javascript - it works when I just put it on a website.

I am trying to put the image slider onto another website (which has CMS made simple). I tried just putting the html, javascript on each 'page', & uploaded the Jquery through the web server. It doesn't work. Please can someone explain to me how to, put my image slider onto my website, that uses cms made simple?
