I've used CMSms and FrontEndUsers so many times, I can't understand why this doesn't work.

Try logging in as u: test p: testtest - and whatever happens the frontend can not see the user as logged in, but the back end does.

Anyone got any ideas!?

Looks like you have tried to use a name for User name and not email address, works better to use email...

I was told the username or password was incorrect.
