Simple Newsletter Signup

Hello everybody!

I did my research in the forum first, I tried a couple of modules (FEU and Selfregistration), but none of them does the simple task I need: a simple sign up form for a newsletter. I tried to change Self Registration so it works for me, but it is not working at all. The possibilities to add or change text to this module are sort of limited if you are not a good coder - which I am not. Sorry for that.

And no, I don't want to create or send the newsletter through CMSMS. I just want to allow my visitors to sign up, send a confirmation e-mail, export the list and send the newsletter through a third party application like Constant Contacts.

So what I need is a form with these fields:
Last name
First name
e-mail
repeat e-mail
Birthday (optional)

No password, no front end user, nothing like that. Just a plain and simple Sign up for a newsletter. Can anybody help or does anybody know which module I could use for this?

Thanks in advance :-*

Form builder can get that info and put it into a CSV file for you, but you have to find out if the "newsletter" system you want to use will import them like that...

Some of those third party email services give you the html form code to embed into your site and then anyone who signs up will go directly to your email database on their server.

Constant Contact offers you 4 ways for your visitors to subscribe to your newsletter, http://www.constantcontact.com/email-ma ... /index.jsp. They can easily be implemented in a cmsms-website

In the context of privacy this seems not a good solution to me, if someone else find the file (Search Engine/Spambot) than the personal data is open to the world...
