design tip/ advice make the background of content white and the headings and the hyper-links red. And try to play with the font-weight of the headings. personally i should them make them lighter (e.g font-weight: normal). And leave the left menu background right next the content area gray and make the hover-over effect from the font red and leave the background white. and give the red text-block a little gradient from red to and little darker red and do that for the active menu tab from the menu also.

But this is my personal advice. You may ignore this advice. It is just a advice.
