M&C Factory + wont display smarty code

Was wondering if anyone else had this problem? normally in the page editor you can just put in {album} and of course the album module displays.
but when using M&C Factory and trying to put {album} in a normal field, it wont display it just shows the text {album} and not the actual module,
does anyone know how to get around this?
