SelfRegistration: Error When Editing User

The error message is: Insufficient number (or incorrect) parameters supplied to module

How it occurs:

A user registers with my site.

The user receives, but does not click on the link in that email.

The admin amends the registration information supplied by the user and clicks "submit."

The error results.

This occurs every time the admin attempts to amend the information supplied by the user. It does not matter which field is amended or whether the "send an email to" checkbox is checked.

In every other circumstance that does not involve the "Edit User" panel, the users are able to register successfully and are placed in the correct group.

The only thing I've customized thus far is that I had amended the email templates to conform to my desired wording. If you need to see them please let me know.

Module: SelfRegistration
Version: 1.6.14
CMSMS: 1.10.3

if the user is not to respond to registration email, then is there any reason to have that enabled? maybe this is causing the error. having a break/disconnect in the registration process like that. you might see if after disabling the confirm via email requirement the error persists.

I apologize for not being sufficiently clear.

The problem was noticed when a new user registered for the web site and the site admin, who happened to know the registrant personally, observed a simple spelling error in the registrant's name. So he corrected it and hit the "Submit" button. He expected a new email to be sent to the registrant notifying that person of the correction. Instead, he got the aforementioned error message.

Were it not for the registrant's type we might never have noticed!
