Search no results

Hello,

I am having some troubles getting "Search" module to work.

I have added various variations of code but most end up with "no results" or simply nothing.

For starters i used plain {search} in my templates and then tried modifying it a bit to {search search_method="post" resultpage="search"} in order to get it to display correctly the results to another page.

My problem is that i always get no results! I have copied some text in one of my pages, re indexed the content and whatever i search, 1 word-two words-3 words of the copied text, i still get no results.

This has become frustrating and i dont know what i am doing wrong, since it seems very basic.

below is my page to see.

http://netinfoplc.com/tech2tech/ (this page has the basic {search} tag which will display the content on the bottom left box)

http://netinfoplc.com/tech2tech/profile/ (this page has {search search_method="post" resultpage="search"} tag which will redirect to a search results page. Also this is the page the has the content)

Thanks in advance.

Check the search tables in the database to see if there are any keywords. Try re-indexing the content in the search admin page.

after some playing around with it, i think i got it to work.

It seems like the search function displays the results for the specific template the page is one. in my case i have over 4 templates and the search in each of the templates will display only the results for the pages using that template.

Is there any way to make the search work globally, irrelevant of the template?

Sounds like a bug :) maybe fill a bug report with needed information, CMSMS version, steps to reproduce.
