Another recent site

Was done about 1.5 years ago using version 1.6.7.
Simple site, used Album module to do photo gallery.
Today spent 10 mins doing step upgrades from 1.6.7->1.7.1->1.8.2->1.9.4.3->1.10.3 and was pleasantly surprised at how easy and painless it was.
Still gives me shivers to even think about the problems with doing Joomla updates I've had in the past. Love live CMSms.
