Hi I've just installed v.1.0 beta and the news module and this (news) doesn't work properly.  I keep adding news and they just simply donn't appear at all (only in the admin page).  Is there a different version of the News module for this new version of cms? any help will be appreciated.

Can't reproduce your problem here. Please try clearing your site cache by going to "Site Admin -> Global Settings" and clicking on the "Clear" button next to "Clear Cache:".

I have the exact same proble, even tried to clear the cache, but that didn't work. running 1.0beta6

hello, still nothing.. i tried uninstalling the news module and reinstalling. nothing...

Is there a solution to this?

I noticed that when i re-copied all the cmsms files to ftp, the news started to appear, however, it showed the default 'News Module Installed' - news. And when i edited it, the news disappeared again.
So it seems that the module only displays the default news, but when editing or adding news, they disappear. I can see them in admin, but not on site.

Check the News module folder on your comp. to the one on your site, with FTP, to make sure all files and folders made it to your site, some times there is a problem where not all are uploaded.

Running 1.0b1>1.0b6 with news and no problems.

also running here on 3 separate installs with no problems.

hello, its weird i uninstalled and reinstalled news and now it works. its weird because i had tried that also before...
