News modelo does not work in CMS v.1 beta

Hi, I just installed new beta versio 1 of CMS and the news they just never appears.  I realized that every time I add an article it stores a 00-00-0000 in the date field no matter if a change it in the propper fields in the form.  Any clue?

Apache: 1.3.36
MySQl: 4.1.19-standard
PHP: 4.4

Make sure that you have uploaded all the new files in modules/News. Otherwise you will be using the old News module which does not work with the new CMSMS. 

Here it works fine.
