[Solved]MicroTiny background issue again?

Using 1.10.3
I have read several posts on the subject of the background color of the textboxes in MicroTiny and the consensus seems to be that the issue of background/text color is solved in 1.10.3.
I have a site with a dark body background though the actual site part of the body (inside the wrapper div) is light. In MT the editing boxes have the very dark background and the black text is hard to read as well as unsightly. The background shown is not the actual background color that the site text sits on which is a greyish color.
Is there a way to make the editing boxes have a white background?
Thanks

You've probably read my post on this subject. And I'm glad that you've raised this issue again, because it confirms my opinion that the current solution is just not good enough. On top of that, it is completely undocumented which selectors (or classes) are used in determining the appropriate bck color.
I've filed a feature request (ID# 7478 - Allow Changing the Background Color of Editing Area), but haven't received any reply so far.
Hope @silmarillion, @stikky and others who have decision rights will realize this is a very annoying issue and give it some more attention.

Yes indeed I did read your post and several others and it was quite confusing because some people are concerned with the colour of the text and others with the background colour. I can see how white text on a white background would be an issue!
In my case I do have a small amount of white text and this is in a sidebar rounded corner box with a mid coloured background and this actual background colour is showing as a rounded corner box with the correct background colour . Looks perfect, except the remaining background area of the sidebar editing box has the dark background instead of light. Also, the h1 in the editing sidebar is taking the colour from the site h1 instead of the sidebar h1 which in this case means it is invisible!
The main content editing area has the very dark background which it actually does not on the site.
I am going to have to return to TinyMCE for this particular site as my client would be horrified to see where he is supposed to be able to edit text especially as I have told him it will be very easy for him to do!
I too have searched for where I might be able to alter the background to no avail. On one hand it might be nice if the actual screen colours are replicated in the editing boxes to better help clients see what they are doing, and on the other, the ability to make it white or whatever colour, if that is what is wanted is also necessary I feel.

Here is the simple solution that does not require any changes to your template structure:
How to set MicroTiny background and font color

That seems a great solution ! Will try it out. I've more or less gone back to TinyMCE lately mainly as the last couple of clients needed tables, but would rather use MicroTiny if possible for most clients.
Thanks !
