Unable to see Admin WYSIWYG editor when using an iPad

Hi, my client has had a CMSMS website for a few years now and is happy with it.

He has just bought an iPad and when he logs into the Admin area, he cannot make changes. All he sees is HTML, and not the WYSIWYG editor. He says:
I’m trying to use my iPad to edit content. The content section of a Page is shown in html. I’ve tried turning WYSIWYG off to see whether that effected things, but alas.
Version: CMS Made Simple 1.9.4.3 "Faanui"

Theme: NCleanGrey (not sure where to find a Version if there is one).

Can anyone offer any suggestions at all so that my client can edit his site on his iPad?

Many thanks in advance!
Cheers

11 days ago I paid to have the site upgraded to the latest version.

I've just copied that info from the footer in the Admin area.

That's very odd indeed - I'll have to go back to the developer and see what's happened.

So my question is does the latest version of CMSMS allow users to login and edit their websites on iPads? Or does something have to be tweaked to get it to work?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I don't have an ipad (would be really nice if somebody would send me one though :)

However, doing a quick google search, it seems that tinymce and ckeditor both have problems with the safari browser... it seems that tinymce doesn't support IOS4 at all, and the IOS5 devices are getting 'better', but there are still problems.

Hey Calguy, thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I am about to mention to my current clients that this technology wasn't around when they first had websites created by me, and it wasn't part of my business plan to support/fix all sites going forward for any new technology which might be invented (unless they pay for me to research and solve their issues).

As the clients rarely want to spend any actual $ (as in this particular case), I'm not willing to spend too much time on something I cannot see/experience when I don't have an iPad either.

PS - If I find a spare one, I'll send it to you ;)

PPS - site has now been ugraded to latest version, will see if this fixes the issue and will then mark this as 'solved'.

Cheers
