CMS Made Simple Forums

I'm wondering about the value of leaving really old (in terms of content) posts in the Forum. While I am fine with using CMSMS for straightforward sites I am now doing my first site using Ecommerce and am finding it rather difficult as I am still trying to understand Smarty.

Have been spending hours on the Forum searching for solutions to my problems. I may find a possibly useful post only to discover it was posted in 2005 or 2006 and the advice given is no longer relevant to 2012 and the latest versions and modules.

Just a thought.

It's not always relavent, but there's a lot of useful information that is version agnostic.
