Setting up paid registration

Hi there,

i am trying to set up a paid registration website but i am having a lot of trouble getting it up and running. I have installed the FEU and SelfReg modules which are working just fine but now i need to integrate the eCommerce part for the registration. I tried using cgeComBase module coupled with Cart, Orders, Products, PayPal gateway and cgBaseGateWay (all latest versions and im running 1.10.2) but the documentation on those modules is a bit 'poor'. I searched this forum for hours but couldn't find a solution.

Problem; I want users to be able to selfreg but they'll have to pay in order to complete this process. My client requests Multysafepay as a portal but this can be subject to change. I followed some advice on the forums and in the description of the modules. The wall i'm hitting is in the communication between the SelfReg module and the eComBase module. After installing eComBase there is a new set of options in the SelfReg module concerning paid subscriptions. I changed this to 'yes' and following the instructions provided below that box (go to eComBase and set the handler to SelfReg, after that set up the paid subscription tab) but i can't find the specific tab in the eComBase module. The tab that closely resembles this is the payment tab but there aren't any settings there, just a selection of the installed paymentmodules.

I would like a gentle push in the right direction. What do i need to set up to be able to get this working? I've seen a lot of detailed problems on this subject where people apparently got it up and running but ran in to some minor issues. Im not even getting the base set up. I hope anyone can be of some help to me.

Hi,

Yes, paid registration is a bit of a mystery. Unless I'm missing the same tab, it could be that the note is referring to an old version. In the preferences for the Paypal Gateway, there is a dropdown to allow Paid Subscriptions - could that be what you're looking for? Would love to hear if you get this working.

I would love some help with this too. There is information out there but it appears outdated. The module FEUPayPal came up a couple of times in my searches but this module has gone stale.

Did you ever get paid subscriptions working?

I've installed all the modules but when I click the package I want and hit submit the page just reloads and nothing happens. Any ideas?
