Is there any way to populate the calendar with the aticles from the news/blog module automatically.

I have tried global content, and a couple other things with no success.

It's a calendar that just shows the date numbers.

Maybe a User Defined Tag just not sure how to write one to pull the information from the DB.

This site is a redesign of an existing site and I'm copying/pasting all her old Blogs into new articles, don't really want to add them to the calendar also and in the future it would be nice to have them be sent to the calendar on entry.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

It should be possible to do it in a UDT, but it'll be much easier with events in 1.0-beta1 (eminent).

Would someone have an idea how I would query the DB for the information to make a UDT to impliment this proccess.

Sorry if I bump this thread, but I need the same thing as mark, synchronizing calendar with news module.

Check out the NewsToCalendar module

That's absolutely weird, I have installe CMSMS 1.0.2 and I swear in my modules list there's not NewsToCalendar...... ......I suppose that the Italian translation is the problem, I'll try to go deeper to those modules I didn't look because their names meant nothing useful to me...

Ah, I haven't released the news to calendar module yet..... though you can get it from svn with this command:

svn checkout http://svn.cmsmadesimple.org/svn/newstocalendar NewsToCalendar
