How can I remove a module, that didn't install properly?

I have just installed CMSMS 1.9.4.3 "Faanui", and then added the module FEU. Didn't see any info about that the last FEU-version (1.16.4) WASN'T for previous versions of CMSMS than 1.10 :(

Since it didn't load properly, I don't see the uninstall-link on the module-line in the module-list.
So I tried to add the previous version 1.16, released 2011-10-17, hoping this is a pre CMSMS 1.10 version (released 2011-10-22). And marked the option "Overwrite existing module". But it didn't load/install anyway.
I get the error-msg "Installing this module would result in an earlier version. Operation was interrupted" (note: my translation from danish - could be a little different in an English CMSMS).

So now I wonder - how can I get the earlier version of FEU added? Hope I don't have to start over with a new installation of CMSMS (I have already done this tree times, first 1.9.4, then 1.10.1 and now 1.9.4.3).

And, BTW, can anyone tell me, more certain, what version of FEU is suitable for CMSMS 1.9.4.3?

Regards
Swedane

Why didnt you install 1.10.1, as that is latest, when you did a clean install?

For removal of a non-installed module, you can just delete the folder from /modules/
