Protecting a CMSMS site from those who have CPanel access.

The title of this Topic says it all.

I have done a shed load of work for a client who has, for reasons best known to himself, changed his server access password so I can't get in.

In the event of me suing him in Court, I want to protect MY creation, the website, from his unwanted attentions.

One of the problems is that he will have access to config.com which of course will contain access login & password details.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

Martin

You mean config.php?

I'm not sure exactly the scenario, and what you are exactly trying to protect, but if you have access to CPanel, you can gain access to the website, and I don't think that there's any way around it.

config.php has mysql user and password, but not user login info. However if he has access to CPanel, he can easily (with a bit of know-how, or a search of this site) reset the admin password to whatever one he wants so that he can gain access.

The site was created with server access.. Can also be modified or taken down the same way.
