Hi all

I'm about to upload a site, and they are uploaded to the server all files and folders on the CMS version 1.9.x, and also created the database. This site is for work or run from a subdomain, and the problem is that I never noticed that the php version they use is the 4 (php4!).

What I can do? I have searched for related information, it seems that creating a custom php.ini to make this run with php5 subdomain, is it possible? Any solution for this?

Here is the original php.ini information, and in the subdomain exists cgi-bin, where it seems there may be a custom php.ini, my question is how do you download or obtain the original php.ini?

I need some help with this, I am new and a little ignorant on this subject.

Did you contact your host? Using php.ini to run PHP5 will only work when the host provides PHP5.

that is, the problem is that my hosting service does not handle more than the version of php 4. I'm fried! ... Resort to plan B ... XD

And worst of all is that they tell me they are not currently planned to handle version 5

Find a new host... PHP4 has been discontinued for a LONG time. PHP 5.2 has been discontinued too.
