CMS Made Simple Forums

Just downloaded and got the program running without any problems.  One question is the themes, there is targz and xml, is this a package or what do you do with the files? The themes have no installation instructions.

Do I unzip them or does CMS simple import them as is?

I couldn't find specific help on this.

.XML can be imported into CMSMS thru Layout » Theme Manager second tab, Import, browse to the file on your comp. clik it and it should show up in the Upload Theme box, clik the Import button, the CSS and template will have theme: on the front of them, any other files that go with the template eg., images or JS files and the like will be in the uploads folder in a folder called theme, that is made when you import the theme...
the targz files need to be untarred into a folder then the individual files need to be put in they're respective folders, some will have to be copy/pasted into new files such as templates and CSS style sheets, i've had to rename some to .txt so i could open them and copy/paste them into a new file ... HTH 

Thanks Mark, this is quite different than what I'm used to by FTP'ing the unzipped file like in Wordpress.
