After installing a Module via XML... can no longer edit it

Hi,

I'm experiencing an issue where I want to edit the default message that loads when making a new message in Newsletter Made Simple.  However, the problem arises that I cannot make any changes what soever to any of the files, thus not being able ot change the default message.

Any ideas to fix that?

all of the messages in NMS can be customized via the gui.  There should be no need to edit any of the files.

Secondly, when you upload a module via xml, the files that are contained within the xml file get expanded by the httpd process owner, and are set with the httpd process owners default permissions.  This would be why you don't have permission to edit them when you ftp in.

I must be messing where I can edit the default content that loads when you wish to make a new message.  I'll keep looking I guess.

Still nowhere in the GUI can I edit that default templat ethat loads when you create a new message.

Can you inform me as to where to find it?

Go to menu content -> pages in admin panel. On the following page your can choose the template you want

Upps, I'm sorry - have read only your last post with forums "unread" function.

Haven't tried current nms yet but if you can't found the possibility to change the message in admin panel you can make a look in /modules/nms/templates too. All the templates you found there you can customize with your favourite editor.
