Products and basket modules as a lightbox?

I want to build a microsite in CMSMS, using the ‘products’ module to display items and a basket/cart module to show chosen items in a lightbox form as you might find on an image stock library.
My question is; using these modules is it possible to add the images of the items to a basket and then download all images together as one download?
• There won’t be a need for full ecommerce, just the add-to-basket functionality of items images and text.
• The images in the basket will need to download as high-res (not thumbs)
I will be installing the CMS, and setting everything else up. I can even install the appropriate modules for you if need be.
